This large oceanview estate family home with of course a pool and jacuzzi has everything for the perfect time on the island. Enjoying the panoramic sunset view with a poolside BBQ ... this indeed is resort living.

A four bedroom (including additional 'Ohana' unit), plus a family room non-smoking unit (3746 square feet/348 square meters) in a home-style single home with a panoramic view of the ocean.

This home has two kings, three doubles, and twelve single beds (or 5 doubles & 6 singles) for a total of 17 beds. Sleeping double in king & double beds give a maximum occupancy of 22.

Based on availability, we can also book the house right next door (HND) with the same great ocean view and this gives larger groups the flexibility of an additional 3 more bedrooms plus 2 baths (please see our direct website for more information).

Accommodations: Single-Family Home with pool - 4 Bedrooms - 5 Baths - (Sleeps 17-22)

Three bedroom main house plus additional separated 'Ohana' studio unit (3,746 square feet / 348 square meters), pool/jacuzzi with a panoramic view of the ocean. This home has two kings, three doubles, and twelve single beds (or 5 doubles & 6 singles) for a total of 17 beds. Sleeping double in king & double beds give a maximum occupancy of 22.

Living Room (376 sq ft): Two sofas, entertainment system (large TV with cable, VCR, Multi-region DVD, many DVD/VCR tapes), large plush chair, large coffee table, and ceiling fan. Access to pool, jacuzzi, barbecue area (back yard).

Dining Room (289 square feet): Large table with seating for eight, high vaulted ceiling. Champagne and wine glasses cabinet.

Master Bedroom (605 sq ft): One king (1-2 persons), one double (1-2 persons) and one sofabed with trundle (2 persons). Has combo TV/VCR/DVD, reclining chair, ceiling fan, two separate (his/hers) bathrooms: one shower, one shower/tub, two basins, two toilets, one bidet, two large closets, and two ceiling fans. Private sliding door with access to side yard adjacent to backyard pool area. Space for optional full-size bed and/or futons (1-3 more persons).

Bedroom #2 (536 sq ft): One king (1-2 persons), two singles (2 persons), and two trundle beds (1-4 persons) that can be put together to make two double beds or four singles. Desk/vanity and chair, ceiling fan. Bookcase full of books. Private access to front yard, Space for optional full-size bed and/or futon (1-3 more persons). Adjacent to common shower, basin, washer/dryer area.

Bedroom #3 (209 sq ft): Two single beds (2 persons). Ceiling fan, private access to side yard adjacent to backyard pool area. Bathroom with tub, shower, basin, and ceiling fan.

Main house bathrooms: All three full baths have ceiling fans, hair dryers, shampoo, and hair conditioner. Fourth 'bath' in the main house is actually a separated shower and basin area (near bedroom #2) and the WC for separate 'guest-use' is located in the entry hall area.

'Ohana' unit (690 sq ft): Private access and separated unit with mini kitchen/dining, 2 double beds (1-3 persons) and one sofabed with trundle (2 persons), in-room closet, ceiling fans. Has TV, VCR player, access to computer (Mac with Virtual PC software), DSL internet connection, fax, phone available separately. Bathroom with tub, shower, basin, and WC.

More Features: There are two sets of washer and dryers (inside and outside), Lanai (434 sq ft) with tables and chairs for seating >25 people (upon request) outdoor swimming pool with waterfall, jacuzzi. Separate Dining Room (289 square feet) with seating for eight, high vaulted ceilings in all rooms, ceiling fans in all rooms. The barbecue area has separate charcoal and two gas stations. Basketball hoop and ball (car port area), electric gated property with full security alarm. Property also has highspeed Wireless/Wired DSL internet available.

View: Main house Master Bedroom, Living and Dining rooms face the ocean (West) with an unobstructed panoramic 130 degree ocean view from the Lanai. Second bedroom view is to the North (front yard) and the Third bedroom faces South (side yard). Ohana front entrance view looks out over the sideyard to the ocean.

NEIGHBORS:
The property is on a 19,000 square foot lot and has trees and greenery separating the nearest three neighbors' property to the east and the south. To the west (ocean view direction) and north, the property sits on top of a 30 foot high wall and overlooks the properties far below (no neighbors) and Lako Street to the north.

The unobstructed panoramic ocein views are spectacular. Each evening we found ourselves returning 'home' to Lako House to enjoy the setting sun from the pool and jacuzzi.

Easy access to town, computer/web/fax access, a full kitchen + BBQ area, pool and jacuzzi for end-of-day relaxation, and the privacy of our 'own' place, made Lako House an ideal setting for the base of our 13-member team Big Island vacation.
